This week was more quiet during the public audience that the Hutt Council gives. In attendance were Shaka and Issulla the Hutts.
Ba’to trying to explain his money making scheme.
First to come speak to the Council was Ba’tothe Hutt who wanted to talk about a new currency program. It seemed to a pyramid scheme of sorts that even the Hutt council was wary of and the visiting Hutt was dismissed.
Senator Tafo speaking politics with teh Hutts.
Next Senator Sapphire Tafo of Tython came to speak to the council about the conditions on her planet. She first told that repairs to the Terentatek park were almost completed, though recently a Jedi was bitten by the creature. What she was doing in the creature’s habitat is unknown at this time. She then announced that for now her feud with the governor had cooled off and she hopes the governor manages to do something for Tython. Next she regretted some of the Jedi didn’t understand the business relation of Tython and the Hutts though their opinion was inconsequential. Lastly she stated parties are planned across Tython to celebrate its liberation.
In response to Shaka’s inquiries, Senator Tafo stated said she hoped elections for all public officials on Tython would soon be held. Secondly on the matter of the Jedi being bit, Chelsea Blauvelt believed the Jedi was in serious condition due to poising from the Terentatek. The Hutts then finished talking about all the kidnappings of Senators that have occurred recently before Miss Tafo moved from the stage.
Sihivus Verne warning Hutts of a bad business deal.
Following Senator Tafo, Sihivus Verne took the stage. She was warning the Hutts of a smuggler who had come to do business with the Hutts a couple of weeks. Sihivus stated the smuggler and her partner had failed to deliver to her pure cortosis and instead pcrinked off junk. The Hutts said that if this smuggler did the same to them she would be fed to the Sarlaac.
On a final note, Shaka the Hutt stated that Princess Thalia of Velmor was to be put to death for her involvement in the death of Huttila the Hutt. Senator Tafo tried to speak on her behalf, but the Shaka cited how the Republic had executed Admiral Wiseman without thought. The Senator even tried to convince Admiral Abyssus, but her pleads fell on death ears. With this Hutt Night came to an end for an execution on the following day.
